CITY MAYOR CALLS SPECIAL MEETING
In a memo to council members, the city manager and city recorder.. Clinton City Mayor Scott Burton says a "Special Call Meeting" is set for July, 28th.. in addition, Mayor Burton says: "The public is invited to attend, and will be heard."
The original memorandum states:
In accordance with Article II, Section 2 of the City of Clinton Charter, this is to advise you that I have called a "Special Call Meeting" of the Clinton City Council on Monday, July 28, 2014, at 9:00am at the Clinton City Hall. The purpose of this Special Call Meeting will be to discuss current Industrial Development issues with the A.C.E.D.A. Director, and take any action required; as well as to conduct all monthly routine business as necessary. This Special Call Meeting will take the place of the regular meeting scheduled for 5:30pm the same day.
The public is invited to attend the meeting, and will be heard.
