The Clinton Parks
& Recreation Department offers a variety of activities for each member of the
family to enjoy. One of the main goals of the department is to improve
recreational opportunities for all citizens and to allow each of them the
opportunity to make maximum use of their leisure time for recreational
enjoyment. The Parks & Recreation Department have a variety of recreational
facilities available to our citizens. As our city continues to grow the
department is making every effort to comply with its' leisure needs with
organizing or assisting various groups with community events such as:
Christmas Events, Clinton City Schools Field Days, and may other events as
needed. One of the most unique aspects of the Clinton Parks & Recreation
Department is its' relationship with the many athletic commissions throughout
the city, which provides recreational sports activities for adults and children
in baseball, softball, basketball, football, volleyball and bowling. Each one of
these commissions is comprised of volunteers who organize and manage each
sporting event and are commended for their efforts, For more information on
