CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION

The Criminal Investigations Division is comprised of five sworn law enforcement officers. All committed to providing citizens with prompt, diligent and proactive investigations.
Specially trained personnel accomplish this by maximizing the use of traditional investigative techniques in combination with the most current technological resources available. The Division works closely with the Clinton Police Department’s Patrol Division and the departments administration, as well as other local, State and Federal law enforcement partners.
The Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for all felony investigations, death investigation, long term or complex narcotics investigations. CID also conducts Internal investigations and pre-employment back ground investigations.
CID is also responsible for securing and safekeeping of all evidence and property that comes under the control of the Clinton Police Department.
