STOLEN PROPERTY ALERT

A report was completed at the Clinton Police Department on November 22, 2011 regarding stolen property from the Clinton Antiques Mall. The complainant says a lantern was taken sometime within fifteen days of November 22, 2011.. and collectors knives were stolen a few days before the report was filed. 

The property stolen is as follows:
1. A fighting rooster collector’s knife with inlaid pearl handle and a stainless steel blade
2. A Case XX collector’s knife with a blue and red handle and a stainless steel blade
3. 1800’s railroad black steel train signal lantern with a blue and green globe (about 16” tall and 9” diameter)

The suspect(s) pried a cabinet open, which damaged the lock and the cabinet, in order to steal the collector’s knives. Investigators say they find that subjects will steal from one antique store and attempt to re-sell the stolen items at another.
