Our Goals

The goal of Human Resources is to function as a supportive partner by providing a full range of high-quality services to City departments, employees and the public. This role encompasses the following functions:

  • Maintain a positive environment that treats employees with courtesy, fairness and respect while promoting professionalism;
  • Provides guidance on compliance with policies and best practices of Human Resource Management;
  • Serve as a strategic partner in making Clinton a desirable place to work for those who are dedicated to serving the community by attracting and retaining a diverse and productive workforce;
  • Protect the City and its employees from losses due to injuries and accidents.
