I want to thank everyone for visiting our city website. Many
things come to mind as I try to serve our residents. My main
goals are to continue to improve the city through education,
expand our economy with good, quality, high-paying jobs and
maintain a sound retail and commercial tax base.
The private sector is the catalyst that drives economy, but local
government can help by providing good conditions in which businesses
can thrive. I want the city government to help when possible,
and not hinder when it can't help. Further, I want to have the
good sense to know when it can or can't help.
Our city is blessed with one of the best education systems -
K-6th grade - in the state. We provide our residents with the
finest public safety with caring police and fire departments.
Clinton is known for its reputable street and recreation departments.
