Clinton Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that May 2024 swim lesson registration will open on April 15, 2024. The last day to register for May 2024 classes will be May 3, 2024. In order to register and secure a spot for the May 2024 lessons, please bring a completed registration form and payment to the Clinton Community Center between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note, we will not be able to accept registrations on April 23 and April 24. Registration forms are available at the Clinton Community Center and by emailing jleninsky@clintontn.net. The May 2024 swim lessons will be held exclusively at the Paul Mikel Aquatic Center located at the Clinton Community Center (101 South Hicks Street) . The following class times will be available: *Monday/Wednesday Beginners - 4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. beginning May 6 and ending May 29. *Tuesday/Thursday Beginners - 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 - p.m. beginning May 7 and ending May 30. Advanced beginners are individuals who can swim completely unassisted for at least 5 to 7 yards, turn around, and swim an additional 5 to 7 yards back to the start in chest deep or deeper water.
