
Sport Surface Pros, LLC will be resurfacing the tennis courts at Jaycee Park beginning May 1, 2024. The courts will be temporarily unavailable until the completion of the resurfacing process.


Construction will begin on the new playground at Jaycee Park on May 1, 2024. The playground will be closed to the public until completion. We apologize for the inconvenience, but know the community will enjoy the new equipment.


The Clinton Splash Pad located at Lakefront Park will be opened by Memorial Day. Once opened, the hours will be 10:00am through 8:30pm. Bring the kids out and cool off at the Lakefront Splash Pad!

Alzheimer's Tennessee will be hosting an event this Saturday April 27th at Lakefront Park (140 S Charles G Seivers Blvd) from 9 am to 12 pm. There will be family fun for all including animals from Little Ponderosa, live music, free food, and a "Wheels for Wellness" Car show in partnership with Coal Creek Coffee. See you there!


Coming to a dog park near you! Visit the Paws for a Cause Pet Expo on Saturday April 27th from 10 am to 3 pm at Carden Farm Dog Park in Clinton at 401 Riverview Drive . Bring your furry friends for a tail wagging good time! This event is presented by Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation (AC ARF).

Clinton Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that May 2024 swim lesson registration will open on April 15, 2024. The last day to register for May 2024 classes will be May 3, 2024.
In order to register and secure a spot for the May 2024 lessons, please bring a completed registration form and payment to the Clinton Community Center between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note, we will not be able to accept registrations on April 23 and April 24. Registration forms are available at the Clinton Community Center and by emailing jleninsky@clintontn.net.
The May 2024 swim lessons will be held exclusively at the Paul Mikel Aquatic Center located at the Clinton Community Center (101 South Hicks Street) .
The following class times will be available:
*Monday/Wednesday Beginners - 4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. beginning May 6 and ending May 29.
*Tuesday/Thursday Beginners - 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 - p.m. beginning May 7 and ending May 30.

The City of Clinton will host a Rec Advisory Meeting on Thursday April 11 at 5 pm at the Clinton Community Center located at 101 S Hicks Street.


We're ready for some fun today at the Mosaic Arts Festival! This event will be at the Clinton Community Center 101 S. Hicks Street from 10 am to 4 pm. Come out and enjoy the day's entertainment and be sure to check out the artisan vendors and food trucks who will also be set up.


Beginning April 8, 2024, the indoor pool at the Clinton Community Center will have lanes 5 & 6 closed to the public from 5:00pm until 5:30pm to allow space for scheduled swim lessons. This arrangement will run through May 30, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience.

***NEW*** Advanced Beginner lesson registration is now open. Advanced beginners are individuals who can swim completely unassisted for at least 5 to 7 yards, turn around, and swim an additional 5 to 7 yards back to the start in chest deep or deeper water. The classes will be held on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning April 10 and ending May 29.
