The 25th Annual Clinch River Antique Festival has official begun! Be sure to stop by this beautiful display of fine antiques and artisan vendors lined along Market and Main Street in Downtown Clinton. Friday will showcase Antiques on Market from 12 pm to 7 pm. Saturday will extend with Artisans down Main from 9 am to 5 pm. This event is rain or shine!
The City of Clinton Aquatics department will be hosting a lifeguard training class on October 5 through 7 from 8:30am till 5pm each day at the Clinton Community Center. A prerequisite swim test is required and must be passed by September 30. This must be scheduled in advance. Additionally, The City of Clinton will wave registration fees for anyone who becomes employed with the city. The City of Clinton is also currently hiring licensed lifeguards. The Smoky Mountain Mustang Club is Back on Saturday September 12th for their Ninth Annual Mustang Show! They will be in the upper section of the Commerce Street parking lot. Registration is from 9 am to noon and Judging is from noon to 3 pm. Proceeds will go to the Lions Club and Dolly Parton Children's Hospital.

The Clinton Community Center's Indoor Pool will be closed to the public each Wednesday from 7:00pm through 8:00pm beginning September 2, 2026 through October 14, 2026 to allow for artistic swimming practice.
