The City of Clinton will hold a Public Hearing on March 23, 2026 at 5:30pm at Clinton City Hall for Ordinance No. 703 – an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 680 “Zoning Code of the City of Clinton, TN by modifying the following zoning ordinance sections: (1) by adding a new section Chapter 2, Section 2.21 specialty shops – vape stores and similar uses. The public is invited to attend and will be heard.

Public Hearing for Comment on Proposed Amendment to Subdivision Regulations, Article III, Section A.16 (Private Streets and Reserve Strips), to Delete the Section in Its Entirety and Insert a New Section A.16 (Private Streets and Reserve Strips — Joint Permanent Easements (JPE).
The proposed amendments establish clear standards governing the limited use of Private Streets and Joint Permanent Easements, including applicability, design and construction requirements, maintenance responsibilities, utility access, emergency access, and lot size compliance, to ensure orderly development while preventing circumvention of subdivision regulations.
